“I believe in Bigman- Winky D” – Spucky B.

An upcoming Afro Fusion Dancehall artist, Antonio Keith with stage name “Spucky B” has expressed his love for Winky D’s music stressing out that majority must also appreciate the talent.
Spucky B who was born and bred in Harare has called on Zimbabweans and the entire music industry to award Winky D his flowers whilist he is still alive.
He alluded that Winky D’s songs do not just narrate his story but speak for many souls who have experienced hardships but persevered.
In an interview with NewsOnline, the afro fusion star said Winky D’s music played an important role in his life as it helped him to pull through rough patches.
“Thumbs up for Winky D who inspires me as l now have the courage to compose my own lyrics expressing what I see around me. Like Bigman himself l write about the situations people are in how life is hard, and yet, through it all, God remains with us,” he said.
Spucky B who is pursuing Accounting Degree with University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw, Poland has 3 albums to his name including the new single “World at Large” which is topping the charts in various clubs.
In making his intentions known in the music circles, the up-and-coming musician has sought the services of seasoned producers such as Oskid productions, Chillspot Levels production and Angeo Pablo.
In an interview with Newsonline Entertainment today, Spucky B said he roped in seasoned producer Ougwei beats based in South Africa in his new single Tura Chirongo.
Outweigh beats, a renowned producer who collaborated with big names such as Buffalo Soilder, Nox, the late Soul Jah Love among others.
Having the opportunity to share stage with Andy Muridzo, Poptain, Baba Harare and even to feature Jah Master on a song titled “Unoda mari,” he still believes opportunity to feature his role model is on the way for career growth.
“I haven’t met Winky D as of yet but regards to the collaboration, I understand hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes. Dreams either come true or otherwise and it is totally acceptable if they don’t, but it is not something one would look forward to.
“We have released several singles in the last few months and have been enjoying airplay on several local radio stations and this shows we are getting somewhere.
“Starting next month, we are hoping to start holding live shows in Poland, what was stopping us is language barrier but we will fight to raise the Zimbabwean flag high, “, he highlighted.
Spucky B also mentioned that he looks forward capitalise on the fame of other musicians who inspire him such as Killer T, Freeman and the late Soul Jah Love whom he wishes to do a remix on one of his songs.
Recently, on his social media handle, Spucky B released a video of himself applauding the great works of Zimdancehall icons who played a pivotal role in shaping the genre as they celebrate its positive outcome.
The Bileteral Sounds leader described Winky D as a the father of Zimdancehall.
Winky D is a renowned award winning Zimbabwean musician, whom is popular of driving Zimdancehall genre in the early 2004 as a DJ before he bacame more popular producing hits like “Musarova Bigman”, “Paita Party”, “Dissappear”, “MuGarden” which features Gemma Griffiths.
