After 7 years Platinum Prince of the song “Ndeip President” bounces back

THE controversial Ndeip President hit maker has finally bounced back to the musical scene after mysterious eight years hibernation.
Ian Makiwa popularly known as Platinum Prince rose to fame between 2014 and 2015 becoming a household name in the Zimdancehall fratenity .
Speaking about his mysterious hibernation in 2018 Platinum Prince said a lot was going on that he had to relocate to South Africa making music there.
“I had trouble in pushing my music because there were challenges l was facing. Fortunately God intervened as l had an opportunity to perform in SA. Financially l sustained although my music in Zimbabwe went low.
l am glad to say I now have people who are helping me and so far its working quite well in my favour,” he said.
At the peak of career zimdancehall fans thought everything was in a smooth-flow but, only to be slapped by a surprise when he left the country after releasing his song Ndoyacho here President, which was categorised as a political song attacking the late Robert Mugabe by then he was the President of Zimbabwe.
“Currently I have released my new singles namely, “Ngaati sorry,” “Chimero,” “Matadza,” “Cheuka” featuring Confused and Majesty Flex. So far I have done the visuals for the track titled Cheuka and I also have another brand new track Chimero. I want to promise that this upcoming September is fully packed with new music and videos” he said.
Although it is evidenced that his departure to South Africa nearly killed his career, one may not lose sight of the grant return he made during his performance at the local show held in Harare recently.
Recently Platinum Prince and his colleague Confused who work as a clique, went on to perform and have interviews at local radio stations together, marking the return of Ndururani clan.
They both rose to fame through Zimdancehall, have had a number of controversial stories. Platinum Prince boasts a number of songs to his name namely Ndiri kukusuwa, Makabatana, Medhemu, Nyorovhita, Usandifonere, Hazviite which was on one of the best produced Zimdancehall riddim bodyslam among other songs.
