Schweppes Minute Maid Offers Free Tollgate Access During ZITF Travel Rush
MOTORISTS travelling to and from Bulawayo during the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) will enjoy free tollgate access and refreshing drinks, thanks to a new promotion by Minute Maid.
The beverage brand has introduced the “Tollgate Happy Hour” campaign, aimed at making travel easier and more enjoyable during one of the busiest periods on Zimbabwe’s roads.
As part of the initiative, Minute Maid will provide 500 free toll passes for light motor vehicles at the Ntabazinduna Tollgate on April 19 and April 26. The offer will be available between 9am and 11am on both days.
In addition to free passage, travellers will also get a chance to enjoy a range of Minute Maid juices, including Pulpy Orange, Tropical, Apple Grape and Guava flavours.
The campaign comes at a time when thousands of people are expected to travel to Bulawayo for the annual ZITF, one of Zimbabwe’s biggest trade events.
Minute Maid says the initiative is designed to connect with consumers by meeting them on the road and offering a refreshing experience during their journey.
Speaking ahead of the campaign, Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Senior Marketing Manager Faith Nehanda said the company wants to support travellers during the busy period.
“ZITF week is one of the busiest travel times in Zimbabwe. We want to make the journey better by giving motorists free toll access and refreshing drinks,” she said.
She added that the campaign shows the brand’s commitment to giving value and creating meaningful moments for customers.
The promotion is being carried out in partnership with the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA).
Minute Maid is part of The Coca-Cola Company, a global beverage firm that operates in more than 200 countries and offers a wide range of drinks including soft drinks, water, juices and teas.
The Tollgate Happy Hour campaign is expected to bring relief and excitement to travellers, while adding a refreshing touch to the ZITF experience.
