Here we come SOUTH AFRICA: As music lovers turn up for HKD, Jnr Spragga & Delroy Shewe
AFRO-fusion and Zimdancehall kingpin Emergy Sly Chizanga aka Freeman HKD, has joined forces with upcoming hardcore dancehall musician Jnr Spragga and Delroy Shewe as they will perform together in South Africa.
HKD Boss the name most known by his fans told Entertainment & Arts reporter Prince Meke that all is set for them to make waves in the boarder country.
“Yes here we come South Africa. Will be performing live with my other talented brothers Jnr Spragga & Delroy Shewe. All is set in St Kempton Park at Amix Lounge this upcoming Friday 29 August.
The Ngaibake hitmaker said more is to come as they have a different style and approach in performing at this event.
“The tactical part about this event is that it is held by Mbare boys entertainment who are based in South Africa, and we have to make sure that everyone who turns up on that show be it a South African or Zimbabwean they should just enjoy the moment.
“Performing in other countries is not easy especially on language barrier but good music sells despite all those challenges. We will leave a mark that Zimbabweans are better live performing musicians.
“Normally when people hear Freeman they will be expecting more than what l would have last performed. Here will be coming in with a different catalogue of songs that everyone will enjoy.”
Awarding winning Zimdancehall chanter said fans are going to love his concert and will be at his top notch.
“I know people are going to love this show and they are going to vibe. Its vibe for a while. Expect more what you have ever heard my fans,” he said.
“This is because we took our time in preparing this event.
“It took us a month to come up with everything that is needed on the show, we took our time listening and practicing live performance and to come up with ideas and till to the point woukd like to thank my management of keeping everything on track.”
Freeman HKD will share stage with upcoming hardcore dancehall artiste Jnr Spragga whom the streets are vibing to his songs namely “Marulez” and “Bad.” Definately, Delroy Shewe who has been trending since last year with the song “Superstar” featuring Saintfloew will also be part of the concert.
Doctor weMagitare another name for Freeman HKD, also mentioned that there there are more shows to come in and outside the country.
“Its not going to be South Africa alone. The best is yet to come. Me and my management together with HKD band we have a lot of work ahead us. Will perform in various shows be it in the country and some outside the country. All l need to do is to keep sweating until l make my fans happy as they are priority on this music business” he said.
The HKD Boss said that he was setting his goals this year.
Freeman has toured a number of notable countries which include United Kingdom, Germany, Namibia among others to say but a few.
