Jazz Meets Afrobeats: Agga Nyabinde & The Too Nice Band Rock the Stage with Nduna Shondex

AS fans await for Afro fusion night with the son of a legend Agga Nyabinde featuring the Too Nice Band this upcoming weekend at Cresta Jameson hotel and followed by the best of Zim Jazz liveshow concert which he, has joined forces with Nduna Shonex as they will perform together at Sheerwood golf club on 11th October in Harare.

The legend Bob Nyabinde’s son born Aggabu Nyabinde has taken a huge step in following his fathers legacy raising it with his own style and he told Entertainment & Arts reporter Prince Meke that all is set for them to make waves in the upcoming shows.

“Yes here we come in Harare. Will be performing live with Too Nice Band at Cresta Jameson hotel starting from 7pm till late on the 26 of September.

“We are not stopping there we have another show at Sheerwood golf club on 11th of October with my other talented brother Nduna Shonex. All is set and fans should be ready for a concoction of Jazz grooves and Afro beats,” he said.

The Handikundike hitmaker went on to highlight that more is yet to come as they have a different style and approach in performing at this event.

“The tactical part about this event is that it is held by my self in collaboration with Cresta hotel and Sheerwood golf club, and we have to make sure that everyone who turns up on those two shows be it a jazz fan or afro fusion fan they should just enjoy the moment.

“Live performance is never an easy task therefore one has to put extra effort to achieve the results of creating a good memorable show. Me and my team we are working very hard to make sure that there will be quality sound and fans should anticipate the best on those two different shows.

“Normally when people hear Nyabinde they will be expecting more than what l would have last performed, especially the fact that my father left a legacy that l look up to.

“Fans should prepare that l will be coming in with a different catalogue of songs that everyone will enjoy,” he said.

He went on to mention that fans are going to love his concert and will be at his top notch.

“I know people are going to love this show and they are going to vibe. Its vibe for a while. Expect more what you have ever heard my fans,” he said.

“This is because we took our time in preparing this event.

“It took us a month to come up with everything that is needed on the two shows, we took our time listening and practicing live performance and would like to thank my management of keeping everything on track.”

Agga Nyabinde will share stage with Afro-Jazz artiste Nduna Shondex whom the streets are vibing to his songs namely “Shamwari dze Nhema” and “Ngazvinake.” Definately, Too Nice Band which will add more fireworks at the Afro fusion night concert.

The seasoned Afro Jazz artist went to mention that there there are more shows to come.

“Its not the first time at Jameson hotel so fans had requested me to come back so will not only stop there. l will definitely come to all towns and cities in the country. The best is yet to come.

Me and my management together with Too Nice band we have a lot of work ahead us. Will perform in various shows be it in the country and some outside the country. All l need to do is to keep sweating until l make my fans happy as they are priority on this music business” he said.

The Too Nice lead artist said that he was setting his goals this year.

Agga Nyabinde has many hits to his name such as Kuroja, Basa iBasa, Kutumira, Baby Gaya Tsotsi including Humwe featuring his late father the legend Bob Nyabinde and many others to say but a few.
