Lady Squanda Reveals Why She Fired DJ Sparks as Manager, Demands Apology from Freeman
OUTSPOKEN Zimdancehall chanter Lady Squanda Fire born Sandra Muchaneta Gazi has exposed what made her decision to fire Dj Sparks his long time manager since the beginning of her music career .
In an interview during a podcast show on social media, yesterday After 8 Boss lady expressed her thoughts as she clears the air on why they stopped working together with Dj Sparks.
“I will say this without hesitation or being afraid. Yes Dj Sparks has hurt me a lot of times that unfortunately l could not keep on holding until l break free from him.
“l once caught DJ Sparks having my nude pictures which l had sent to my boyfriend. Since he was manager he took advantage that he could access my phone and thats where he took my pictures when we were about to perform on a show together.
“Ofcourse l approached him and asked why he needed my naked pictures which l saw on his phone but all he could say was that someone would have tempered with my phone and used share it application to send it,” said Squanda.
The self proclaimed Queen of Zim-Dancehall went on to highlight that she would sometimes avoid being sued by music promoters defending Dj Sparks.
“A lot of funds that he mismanaged after we had won and sign all contracts with music promoters. Imagine performing a liveshow that myself did not even enjoy a dollar because of mismanagement. Trying to reach Sparks that time his phone would be off.
“One of the days l asked him to come to work using a public transport and it took me to shock when he send a message that he could not board such transport. To my surprise if not for this music money he would not even fly to UK, board a taxi but he decided to let me down after all we went through.
“l later asked for music recordings and all riddims in his laptop unfortunately he deny to an extent that l was so angry because the promoter had phoned me to say that if l would not perform to his show he will need back his money.
“He also made himself an admin on my page unfortunately he did not give me access to my Facebook account which l had worked for a long time. lt was impossible for me to post any show since l had no access to my account.
The Ndinovhaira hitmaker went to highlight that Sparks once came with a guy named Last whom she gave money to buy a car and to her surprise the car was just a racked dead car.
“He sometimes could not answer his phone when l needed him the most. l had given my trust to him but unfortunately after all such incidents l had no choice than to part ways with him.
“l also feel like somewhere somehow Freeman HKD has done some bad things to me that l feel like he owes me an apology. Deep down it still hurt me. Yes l once told him but he did not apologize as he also feels that l did hurt him too,” said Squanda.
Dj Sparks during the interview also went on to defend himself on the facebook account which he was the admin in Lady Squanda’s page.
“Yes l was an editor on the Queen’s page but unfortunately my account that l once used long back was banned on Facebook so l had no access to it and even Squanda’s page.
“The car deal l wasn’t involved. l just introduced Queen to the guy who was a car dealer and you did your processes without my knowledge.
This comes after social media went frenzy that Nisha Ts is now the queen of Zimdancehall and Lady Squanda responded to a fan that she is still there to stamp her title. This led to interviews to ask why she went quiet in the music industry until revealed that Dj Sparks was part of her absence.
