MASHAMBANZOU Care Trust is hosting a fundraising dinner to raise $9,000 for a new Care Unit incinerator, essential for safe medical waste disposal at their 30-bed hospital. The current incinerator is no longer functional, posing significant health risks to patients, staff, and the surrounding community.
The fundraising dinner will take place on October 11, 2025, at the trust’s offices in Waterfalls, Harare, coinciding with the International Day of the Girl Child and the birthday celebrations of renowned artist Dereck Mpofu.
This event marks a crucial step in securing the future of Mashambanzou’s life-changing services, which have been providing care, hope, and empowerment to vulnerable individuals, families, and communities affected by HIV and AIDS since 1989.
