Nash TV Studios’ Genius Producer Money Cure Drops New Reggae Anthem

MONEY Cure of Nash TV studios, who produced hit tracks on Saintfloew, Nisha T’s, among other prominent musicians in the country is also working with fast rising Reggae and Afro fusion musician P Jays.

P Jays’ who has suddenly becoming a young vibrant artist growing from the streets of Masvingo, told our reporter Prince Meke today that working with talented producers is his dream come true.

“Many upcoming artists and even those who have gained momentum in the industry will tell you that working with renowned musicians and prominent producers is a big dream that one can be proud of.

“I had an opportunity to enter Nash TV studios. Yes l enjoyed all the moment there since now we are almost done in completing the song Wakandibaya moyo which was produced and mustered by Money Cure,” said P Jays.

The young musician, who was born Phillip Junior Chuma 22 years ago, believes Money Cure’s interest in him resulted from the fact that he was so eager and has passion to become one of the best raggae artist not only Zimbabwe even to go global.

“Though lam an underground artist l believe that when opportunity rises working with promoters that believe in your line of work you will reach far.

“All those big names like Freeman, Baba Harare, Jah Praizah, Winky D started just like me. So its only a matter of time that l will penetrate the industry. Yesteryear we had Holy Ten, Voltz, Bling 4 whom also stamped their authority in the music industry,” he said.

Given P Jays current lofty standing in Zimbabwean music, remmember there was emerging artistes like Chillmaster, Jnr Spragga, Master H to mention but a few whom are now doing wonders and it is hard to believe that a year ago Madedido was nowhere but now he is making strides.

The rising star went on to highlight that the creation of the song and video took almost 3 months to be recorded.

“Indeed it was a process to create Wakandibaya moyo a reggae song which is accompanied by a video filmed by Simba Gee. l even traveled to Bulawayo where the video was shot.

It was Money Cure magic touch on the red-hot ‘Bipolar by Saintfloew’s that catapulted him into the hearts of Zimbabwean music fans.

P Jay told the News Online that though he loved music a lot as a youngster, he hardly imagined he would eventually record with one of the best producers.

“My love for music developed in a big way when I was 15 years old and still at Hebron High School.

“My interest for music was very well known at the school and that is how I earned the nickname P Jays. Was part of the school brass band and also featured in choirs.

“I wrote some of my earliest music during this period,” said P Jays.
