ZIMBABWE’S young golf sensation Ayanda Ndlovu is back home after a stellar international campaign.
The nine-year-old golf prodigy returned to Zimbabwe this afternoon aboard a South African Airways flight, bringing with him stories of triumph and inspiration.
Ndlovu’s recent performances have been nothing short of remarkable. He made history by securing a podium finish at the prestigious Champion of Champions Junior World Tournament in Northern Ireland, followed by another top-three position at the South African Kids Golf Junior Africa Challenge (JAC) in Durban.
At the Champion of Champions Junior World Tournament, Ndlovu proudly carried the Zimbabwean flag as the country’s sole representative, finishing with an exceptional tie for second place (T2) in his debut international appearance.

His performance automatically qualified him for the 2026 World Championships, cementing his status as one of the world’s most promising young golfers.
Ayanda’s parents, particularly his mother Sithembubuhle Nyathi, are beaming with pride.
“Watching Ayanda grow in the game has been a blessing. His determination inspires not just us as his parents, but everyone around him,” she said.
Ndlovu is looking ahead to more tournaments and the 2026 World Championships, funds permitting. He is not just chasing personal victory but proudly carrying the hopes of a nation eager to see its flag fly high on the global sporting stage
