Zimbabwe Welcomes Global Footgolf President, Targets World Cup Bid

THE arrival of International Federation of FootGolf (FIFG) President Aleks Kravanja today will boost Zimbabwe’s standing in the worldwide FootGolf community.

Daniel Kuwengwa, president of the Zimbabwe Footgolf Association (ZFGA), confirmed the visit.

Kravanja will actively engage with government leaders, observe local grassroots programs, and attend the prestigious Africa Footgolf Open Championship. This major event takes place in Victoria Falls from November 20-26.

> “The visit aims to promote Footgolf and sports tourism in Zimbabwe,” Kuwengwa added.

The ZFGA is already planning a bold bid to host the 2030 Footgolf World Cup in Victoria Falls. This ambitious goal strongly supports Zimbabwe’s “Open for Business” vision.

Kravanja’s schedule includes meeting key figures and visiting St John’s Retreat Primary School to witness Footgolf development in action personally.

“ZFGA is honoured to host the FIFG President and looks forward to growing Zimbabwe’s ties with the international Footgolf community,” Kuwengwa said.
