President Mnangagwa Leads Munhumutapa Day Celebrations with Housing Project Launch

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is set to commission the Midlands Park Housing Project in Zvishavane today, a US$29 million initiative poised to significantly boost the country’s housing sector.
The project promises to deliver modern residential flats and student apartments, addressing the need for safe and decent accommodation in this mining town.
The event aligns with the Government’s ambitious target to deliver one million housing units by year-end, as outlined in National Development Strategy 1.
The housing project launch precedes the second edition of Munhumutapa Day celebrations, a national event commemorating President Mnangagwa’s birthday and recognizing his leadership, particularly in empowering Zimbabwe’s youth.
Munhumutapa Day festivities will take place at Muzvondiwa Business Centre in Zvishavane today, symbolizing unity, national pride, and collective support for President Mnangagwa’s leadership.
A delegation attending the event includes government officials, prominent business leaders, ZANU PF representatives, and affiliates such as the recently launched Mwanawevhu Culture for Economic Development initiative.
