NetOne Reinforces People-Centred Development Through Christmas Cheer Initiative

IN the warm spirit of Christmas and shared national purpose, NetOne used the festive season to strengthen both community bonds and strategic partnerships, paying a courtesy visit to the Honourable July Moyo, Minister of Energy and Power Development.

The NetOne delegation, led by Head of Infrastructure and Applications Support Engineering Tapiwa Paradza, alongside Midlands Province Regional Manager Ms Ndebele and Public Relations Manager Ernest Magadzire, visited the Minister as part of the company’s annual Christmas Cheer Campaign.

Through the initiative, NetOne extended support to the less privileged by donating groceries to vulnerable groups, including the elderly and orphans, reflecting the company’s deep commitment to compassion and social responsibility.

The visit also went beyond seasonal goodwill, creating an important platform for positive engagement to enhance collaboration and support national connectivity and digital infrastructure development.

During the discussions, Honourable Moyo reaffirmed his Ministry’s support for NetOne’s mission to connect the unconnected, highlighting the importance of reliable energy solutions in sustaining telecommunications infrastructure and accelerating digital inclusion.

The engagement underscores NetOne’s people-first development philosophy and its strong alignment with National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2). As the company continues to expand its footprint, it remains focused on driving Zimbabwe’s digital economy and advancing the vision of Digital Zimbabwe, in line with His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s call to leave no place and no one behind.
