Castle Lager Send Fans to Back Chevrons in India

DELTA Beverages’ Castle Lager is flying five Castle Corner ‘super fans’ to Chennai, India, on Tuesday to provide support for the Chevrons following their historic performances.

The Zimbabwe national cricket team have been authoring a fairy tale script recently, most notably with their gritty, standout performances at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka. To keep that momentum alive, Castle Lager is footing the bill for an all-expenses-paid trip for the super-fans who have become the face of Zimbabwean spirit in the stands.

The quintet chosen to carry the nation’s voice includes Leonah Dadirai Tanikwa, Abel Mataranyika, Godwin Ngonidzashe Mamhiyo, Brian Hwenjere, and Malvin Nyengeterai Kwaramba.

For Delta Beverages, this is about the chemistry between a nation and its heroes.

“Castle Lager has always believed in the power of sport to bring people together,” said Irimayi Muzorewa, Delta Beverages Marketing Director.

“Supporting the Zimbabwe Chevrons in their quest for success on the international stage is a proud moment for us. We believe that every match is a celebration of talent, resilience, and national pride.”

By sending these seasoned supporters to Chennai, Castle Lager ensures the Chevrons feel the warmth of home, even thousands of miles away.
