Jacaranda Music Festival has begun

JACARANDA Music Festival opened with a two-day music business conference at The Venue ahead of the main shows on Friday and Saturday at Thorn Park Polo Grounds in Harare.
Event manager Tariro neGitare said the festival aims to promote cultural diversity while showcasing Zimbabwean and international music, arts, and culture.
“We’re finalising preparations to ensure everything is perfect for our attendees. Artistes and guests have started arriving,” she said.
“Our festival also supports emerging talent, providing a platform for new artistes to shine alongside established acts, while contributing to Zimbabwe’s creative economy and local businesses.”
The festival features a blend of rising and established performers. Headliners include South African Afro-pop stars Mafikizolo, Murumba Pitch, Oskido, The Soil and Vusi Nova. Local acts on the line-up include Agga Nyabinde, DJ Ace, and DJ Spunj, with other popular names such as ExQ, Msiz’kay and Enzo Ishall.
Tariro neGitare said guest safety remains a top priority.
“On-site security teams will ensure a safe environment, with strict entry and exit procedures. Medical teams will be on standby. We also advise attendees to plan ahead for traffic, with parking available and encouragement for carpooling and ride-sharing.”
The Jacaranda Music Festival promises two days of memorable performances, networking, and a celebration of cultural diversity through music and the arts.
