Chibuku Neshamwari National Finals Set for Mutare Showgrounds

Zimbabwe’s biggest traditional dance event, the Chibuku Neshamwari National Finals will be held on Saturday, 19 July at the Mutare Showgrounds, running from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

Dance groups from across the country who won their provincial competitions will gather to compete for the top prize. The event is all about celebrating Zimbabwe’s culture through music and traditional dance.

Entry is free, but only people over 18 years old will be allowed in.

There will also be live performances by some of the country’s biggest music stars, including Jah Prayzah, Alick Macheso, Enzo Ishall, and The Vibrant Band, making the event even more exciting.

The Chibuku Neshamwari Festival is organised with help from the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) and the Zimbabwe National Traditional Dance Association (ZNTDA). It has been running for many years and continues to bring people together to celebrate who we are as Zimbabweans.

With music, dance, and culture all in one place, the Mutare finals promise to be a fun and unforgettable day.
