JAMAICAN multi-award-winning artist Busy Signal has heaped praise on Zimbabwean star Winky D, following the success of their collaborative single “Drink Up.” The song, which has racked up over 700,000 views in less than a week, has solidified the two artists’ partnership.
During a radio tour promoting the Kadoma Music Festival, Busy Signal expressed his gratitude and admiration for Winky D’s work. “It was really great, I felt so honoured to work with Winky D,” Signal said. “You know it’s a great song because everyone wants their problems to go away, we all want to drink and have fun responsibly.”
Busy Signal revealed that he was immediately drawn to the song’s catchy melody. “When my team played the song to me, I initially liked the melody. It’s a great tune, great melody,” he added.
