Zanu-PF’s Mwanawevhu Culture Association aims to support upcoming entrepreneurs

A Zanu-PF affiliate group, Mwanawevhu Culture Association 4ED, has launched its Association in Masvingo province, aimed at nurturing talent, culture and supporting up-and-coming entrepreneurs from across the country.

The launch, has managed to draw participants from all provinces including government officials and it culminated the formulation of the group’s 2025 vision plan, according to the Director Coordination in the office of The President and Cabinet in Minister of State’s office Ruth Chingwe.

Speaking today at launch representing guest of honour Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Ezra Chadzamira she highlighted that this initiative is priority as it promotes culture and tradition in national development.

“We welcome The Mwanawevhu Culture Association 4ED as it harness with First Lady’s teachings of promoting culture. Young people should learn more about our tradition and culture in the socio-economic and political development sectors of the country.

“We also have aspiring young entrepreneurs including talented sportsman, actors, musicians to mention but a few looking forward to growing in various ways. This is the time to share ideas and chat the way forward.”

“Even the First Lady will be happy with what you have initiated in the country. Let’s preserve and document the original way of tradition and promote cultural preservation for the benefit of the younger generation,” she said.

Addressing the crowd who had gathered at the launch, Mwanawevhu Culture Association 4ED Vice Chairperson Duncan Shereni said they are willing to work with any ZANU PF affiliate to promote vision 2030 Agenda.

“Everyone is welcome to join and work with the newly established ZANU PF affliate. We shall fullfil President Mnangagwa’s mantra (Nyika inovakwa Nevene vayo) The country is build by its people. lam happy other affiliates have taken a step to support us,” he said.

On a sideline interview with the Chairperson for Mwanawevhu Culture Association Ashleigh Zingoni noted that their organisation was made up of members of different cultural members

“As members of the Mwanawevhu Culture Association 4ED our stance is that as the cultural organization, we should be in support of the Government governing this country.

“We will work hand in hand with the Government to preach unity, peace and love among the people to promote culture and tradition.

She said the association would continue to promote for culture for Zimbabwe and for economic development.

“I have, however, noted with concern that some young people are involved in drug abuse, some neglecting our old cultural ways of living and some have talent but they are lacking support in sports, arts and entrepreneurship.

“Will nurture talent and we are there to foster community socio-economic cohesion,” she said.

The Mwanawevhu Culture Association is a ZANU PF affiliate group which is a valuable organization that promotes cultural preservation and development among children, youths, war veterans, and young women and men.

By engaging participants in various cultural activities, the association aims to promote cultural identity, address social issues, foster community cohesion and support national development including the President ED Mnangagwa mantra of vision 2030.

The newly appointed members of Mwanawevhu Culture Association at national level include Ashleigh Zingoni (Chairperson), Duncan Sheren (Vice Chairperson), Prince Meke (Secretary General), Kugara Morris (Treasurer), Adonia Maphosa (Coordinator), Prince P Haurovi (Talent Programs Officer) Titos Mugova Commitee Member
